Rock Hyrax Skull #01418

This is the skull of a rock hyrax!

The rock hyrax is an unusual small mammal native to Africa and the Middle East. Despite its resemblance to a rodent or rabbit, it is more closely related to elephants and sea cows!
Sourced from a US collection, this is a very nice and robust adult example of the species in good shape. It is missing the upper incisors, but is otherwise excellent. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
