This is the skull of a Japanese raccoon dog!

Neither raccoon nor dog, the raccoon dog is a primitive fox-like canid native to East Asia. It resembles a raccoon with its mask-like facial markings, stocky body, and short fluffy tail.
This is a beautiful adult example from a US collection. It was properly degreased and whitened with hydrogen peroxide. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
