Dromedary Camel Skull #01570

This is the skull of a domestic dromedary camel!
The dromedary camel is a domestic camelid. It was first domesticated at least 4,000 years ago. Though feral populations exist, it has not occurred naturally in the wild for over 2,000 years. This species of camelid can be distinguished from others by the presence of a single fatty hump on its back.
This is a very nice “teen” example of the species (about 3/4 adult size) in excellent condition with a beautiful aged patina. It is a true antique, over 100 years old! The jaw has been wired to skull. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
