Tree-kangaroos are arboreal macropods native to New Guinea and far northeastern Queensland, Australia. Tree-kangaroo skulls are virtually unheard of in collections – we only know of a few specimens in private hands.
Sourced from a US collection, this rare upper skull was retrieved from an antique tribal piece. It has an attractive aged patina and a great set of teeth. The exact species is unknown, but no tree-kangaroo species are ESA-listed. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
