This is the skull of a rock hyrax!

The rock hyrax is an unusual small mammal native to Africa and the Middle East. Despite its resemblance to a rodent or rabbit, it is more closely related to elephants and sea cows!
Sourced from a US collection, this is a very nice adult example of the species in good shape. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
