Northern Red Muntjac Skull #01681

This is the skull of a northern red muntjac!

(Listed on behalf of a friend!)
The northern red muntjac is a small deer native to South Asia. Like all muntjacs, males of the species have small antlers and elongated canine teeth. Unlike the related Reeves’s muntjac, this species is rare in US collections.
Sourced from a US collection, this is a solid male example of the rare species with nice teeth. It is missing the canines. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
