Muskox Skull #00610

This is the skull of a muskox!

The muskox is a large bovid native to the Arctic. It is one of the largest caprines, related to sheep and goats. It has shaggy fur and unusual drooping horns.
It’s rare to find skulls of this species as they are usually taxidermy mounted. This is a huge and heavy male example with beautiful horns, largely complete with only minor losses. All teeth and nasal turbinates are intact. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
