Yellow Mongoose Skull #00709

This is the skull of a yellow mongoose!

Also known as the red meerkat, the yellow mongoose is a small social mongoose species native to southern Africa. It is fairly uncommon in collections.
Sourced from a US collection, this is a super cute subadult example of the species. It has some writing on the back of the cranium, but is in excellent condition otherwise. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
