Serval Skull #00784
This is the skull of a serval!
The serval is a medium-sized spotted wildcat native to Africa. It is very athletic, able to leap more than 2 meters into the air while hunting prey. Servals are rarer than the related caracal and highly sought-after in collections.
Sourced from a US taxidermist, this is an excellent large example of the species with a great set of teeth. It is one of the nicest examples of the species we’ve ever had – it even has the nasal turbinates! It is missing the tiny rear molars and has a small amount of damage to the left zygomatic arch, but is in beautiful shape otherwise. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
