Black-Backed Jackal Skull #00788
This is the skull of a black-backed jackal!
The black-backed jackal is a coyote-like canid native to southern and eastern Africa. It is named for the black saddle-like marking on its back.
This is a nice example of the species with only a few flaws. The incisors are mismatched and one is missing, but it is in great shape otherwise with intact nasal turbinates. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
