This is the skull of a mountain goat!

The mountain goat is a bovid native to the mountainous regions of North America. It is not a true goat, being more closely related to the takins and chamois.
It’s fairly rare to find skulls of this species as they are usually taxidermy mounted. It’s even rarer to find one with the mandible intact! This one is in excellent shape with nice horns. It is missing a few teeth – the incisors possibly naturally – and could use further degreasing, but it very nice otherwise. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
