Curl-Crested Aracari Skull #00873

This is the skull of a curl-crested aracari!

The curl-crested aracari (Pteroglossus beauharnaisii) is a small bird in the toucan family native to Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia. Its common name comes from the crest of curled feathers on its crown and nape.
This is an excellent captive example of the species in good condition. It could use further cleaning. This is one of the more uncommon aracari species. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is a legal bird skull – it is not from an ESA- or MBTA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
