This is the fossil jaw of an American alligator!

The American alligator is a large crocodilian native to the southeastern United States. Mature males of this species grow on average to about 11 feet long, though much larger specimens have been recorded.
This is an excellent Ice Age (Pleistocene) partial jaw of the species from Florida. It is in great condition with two beautiful original teeth preserved. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
As a fossil, this specimen is not from an ESA-listed population and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
