Elk Skull #01003

This is the skull of an elk!

The elk or wapiti is a deer species native to North America and Asia. It is one of the largest extant deer, with males of the largest subspecies exceeding 1000 pounds in weight. Elk have enlarged canine teeth, called whistlers or elk ivory, which are occasionally used in jewelry-making.
This is a beautiful old female example of the species with naturally worn and the canine teeth intact. It could use further degreasing. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
