African Civet Skull #01136

This is the skull of an African civet!

The African civet is a large spotted viverrid native to Africa. The viverrids are a family of feliform (cat-like) carnivores.
Sourced from a US taxidermist, this is a nice large adult example of the species from our personal collection. It is missing the lower incisors and could use further degreasing, but has some interesting natural dental abnormalities. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
