XL Warthog Skull #01284

This is the skull of a warthog!

The common warthog is a suid native to sub-Saharan Africa. Both sexes have distinctive curved tusks and facial protrusions, which are more prominent in males.
This is an awesome HUGE male example with beautiful curved tusks. Definitely one of, if not the largest warthog we’ve ever offered for sale! It also has some interesting pathology around the orbits, either from intraspecific fighting or a predator attack. The lower tusks are split and it could use further degreasing. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
