Pale-Throated Three-Toed Sloth Taxidermy Mount #01298

EXTREME RARITY ALERT! This is the taxidermy mount of a PALE-throated three-toed sloth!
Yes, three-toed sloth! The pale-throated three-toed sloth (Bradypus tridactylus) is a famously slow-moving arboreal mammal native to South America. It is one of five three-toed sloth species, distinguished from the distantly-related two-toed sloths by the number of digits on its front limbs. Three-toed sloth specimens are virtually unheard-of in collections, and thus highly sought-after. Most three-toed sloth mounts in collections are the more common brown-throated species, so this one is rarer than rare!
Sourced from the estate of famed AMNH taxidermist David Schwendeman, this gorgeous vintage mount is very well made and in fantastic condition. You won’t find another! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
