This is the skull of a mitred conure!

The mitred conure (Psittacara mitratus), also called the mitred parakeet, is a medium-sized green conure with a red forecrown native to South America. There are invasive populations of the species in Florida, California, and Hawaii. It is bred in aviculture, but is not a common species.
Sourced from a US collection, this is a nice example of the species that passed naturally in captivity. This species is uncommon in collections – the only one we’ve seen or offered. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is a legal bird skull – it is not from an ESA- or MBTA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
