This is the skull of a water deer!

The water deer is a small deer species native to Korea and China with an introduced population in Great Britain. Males bear long tusks, but they are the only true deer without antlers.
Sourced from a US collection, this is an excellent captive male example of the species in fantastic condition with intact nasal turbinates and an impressive set of tusks. It’s about as nice as they come, and priced below retail. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
