This is the fossil head of a Tully Monster!

The “Tully monster” Tullimonstrum is a genus of soft-bodied aquatic animal that lived about 300 million years ago. It is only found in a small section of the Mazon Creek fossil beds in Illinois. Even though it was discovered over 60 years ago, the classification of this mysterious animal (beyond bilatarian) is still unknown.
This cool fossil shows the preserved head and eye bar of the enigmatic species. Both sides of the nodule are included. This specimen has collection data. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
