Pathological Gray Wolf Skull #01495

This is the skull of a gray wolf!

(Listed on behalf of a friend!)
The gray wolf is a canine native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is the largest extant wild canid and is highly social and intelligent.
This is an excellent adult example of the species with intact nasal turbinates. This one has a healed “dent” on the sagittal crest, likely from the kick of an elk or moose! This specimen is from Alaska and has some collection data. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed population (ID, MT, and AK populations are not listed) and is legal to sell and possess. However, gray wolf parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
