Günther’s Dik-Dik Skull #00062

This is the skull of a male dik-dik!

Dik-diks are small antelopes native to the bushlands of Africa. Only the males possess horns. Dik-diks have a short proboscis thought to help prevent overheating.
Sourced from a US taxidermist but originally from Uganda, this is most likely a Günther’s dik-dik. This male example has all teeth but is missing the nasal bones. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
