Southern Tree Hyrax Skeleton #01686

This is the skull and skeleton of a southern tree hyrax!

(Listed on behalf of a friend!)
The southern tree hyrax is an unusual small mammal native to Africa. Despite its resemblance to a rodent or rabbit, it is more closely related to elephants and sea cows!
Sourced from a US collection, this is a very nice adult example of the uncommon species in great shape. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
