Ground Sloth Claw Fossil #00331

This is the claw core of a ground sloth!

Although there are only six extant species today, the sloth family used to be much more diverse. Up until the end of the Ice Age, there were many species of terrestrial sloths, too, and some got huge – as big as a bull African elephant!
This is an excellent Pleistocene (Ice Age, 10,000+ years old) fossil claw core from a juvenile ground sloth. Legally collected in Florida, it is in beautiful condition with only light wear. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
