Four-Horned Jacob Sheep Skeleton #00356

This is the skeleton of a Jacob sheep!

The Jacob’s sheep is a rare polycerate (multiple-horned) spotted breed of sheep. It has been bred in England for at least 350 years, though its true origin is unknown. Jacob sheep may have as few as two to as many as six horns, though four is preferred. The horns may be black or striped – white is undesirable. Skulls of this breed are highly sought-after in collections.
This is an excellent mature four-horned female example of the breed with beautiful striped horns. It is in fantastic condition and complete down to the hoof cores and hyoid. It would be a fantastic candidate for articulation! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
