Eurasian Wolf Skull #00364
This is the skull of a Eurasian wolf!
The gray wolf is a canine native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is the largest extant wild canid and is highly social and intelligent. The Eurasian wolf Canis lupus lupus is a subspecies of the gray wolf native to Europe and Asia. It has a shorter, narrower muzzle and more melodious howl than its North American relatives.
This is a fascinating vintage example of the uncommon subspecies sourced from an old US collection. It has significant damage to the mandible and part of the cranium, but is still an interesting specimen for comparison. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. However, gray wolf parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
