Linnaeus’s Two-Toed Sloth Skull #00469

This is the skull of a Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth!

The Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth is a famously slow-moving arboreal mammal native to South America. It is one of two two-toed sloth species, distinguished from the distantly-related three-toed sloths by the number of digits on its front limbs. This species is rare and highly sought-after in collections.
This is a fantastic large captive adult male example of the species in excellent condition. It was beetle-cleaned, degreased, and lightly sanitized with hydrogen peroxide, but left an attractive natural color. One caniniform is broken. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
