Pathological Red Fox Skull #00031

This is the skull of a red fox!

The red fox is the largest of the true foxes and one of the most widespread carnivorans, present across the entire Northern Hemisphere and Australia.
This is a nice example of the species with a few broken teeth. Interestingly, this one has a natural hole in the cranium, possibly caused by a bite injury or disease. The smooth edges around the wound indicate it had begun to heal before the animal died. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
