Side-Striped Jackal Pelt #00230

This is the pelt of a side-striped jackal!

The side-striped jackal is a canid native to central and southern Africa. It is closely related to the smaller and more widespread black-backed jackal.
This is a beautiful and complete rare pelt in excellent condition with all four feet and lips and luxurious fur. It was probably mountable at one point, though we can’t guarantee that it still is. Far less common than the black-backed jackal, it is the first example of the species we’ve seen for sale. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
