Collared Peccary Skull #00476

This is the skull of a collared peccary!

The collared peccary or javelina is a pig-like artiodactyl native to North, Central, and South America. Although they resemble suids and are related, they are not true pigs.
This is an nice adult example of the species with a few flaws. It’s missing the auditiory bullae and the mandible isn’t a perfect match, but is in great condition otherwise. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
