Wild Boar Skull #00825
This is the skull of a wild boar!
The wild boar that roam the United States are feral descendants of domesticated swine first introduced to the Americas by Europeans in the 16th century.
This is a decent-sized example of the species with impressive tusks. It could use further degreasing. The lower tusks have been pulled out, so the mandible doesn’t quite fit correctly. It is possible it is a close-fitting composite. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
