This is the skull of a chacma baboon!

The chacma baboon is an Old World monkey native to southern Africa. It is one of the largest monkeys, with large males weighing up to 100 pounds. Females are much smaller.
This is an extra large mature male example of the species sourced from a US collection. He’s huge! The mandible is epoxied to the maxilla and the upper right canine is a replacement, but it is an excellent, solid specimen. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
