Pathological Gray Wolf Skull #01219

This is the skull of a gray wolf!

The gray wolf is a canine native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is the largest extant wild canid and is highly social and intelligent.
This is an excellent adult example of the species with intact nasal turbinates. One premolar was removed for aging. Interestingly, this specimen has an unusual “twisted” sagittal crest! This specimen is from Idaho. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed population (ID, MT, and AK populations are not listed) and is legal to sell and possess. However, gray wolf parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
