Fossil Oreodont Jaw #01274



This is the fossil jaw of an oreodont!
Oreodonts are a diverse group of prehistoric artiodactyls distantly related to camels. They were were widespread in North America during the Oligocene and Miocene.
This is a nice section of jaw from an oreodont, probably Merycoidodon, with beautiful chocolate brown teeth. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
A fossil, this specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
