The red-footed tortoise is an omnivorous tortoise species native to South America. It is a popular pet.
This is the shell of an extra-large adult specimen that died in captivity. The shell is in good condition with all scutes intact. It measures 14 inches long – the species averages 12 inches at adulthood. The inside of the shell has been disinfected with ammonia but not whitened. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
