Pathological American Marten Skull #01380

This is the skull of an American marten!
The American marten is a small mustelid native to the northern forests of North America.
This is an excellent example of the species with good teeth. Interestingly, this animal got a stick stuck in its palate at some point while alive, possibly while chewing or after a badly-aimed bite. It was wedged in well enough that it stayed in place during cleaning! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
