Southern Three-Banded Armadillo Skeleton #01506

This is the skeleton of a three-banded armadillo!

The southern three-banded armadillo is an unusual armored mammal found in South America. The three-banded armadillos are the only armadillo species that can fully roll up into a ball. This species is rare in collections.
This is an excellent captive example of the uncommon species sourced from a US collection, complete with the head shield, shell, and claws. It is still partially ligament bound, so it should be an easy build if you decide to articulate it. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
