Black-Backed Jackal Skull #01620

This is the skull of a black-backed jackal!

The black-backed jackal is a coyote-like canid native to southern and eastern Africa. It is named for the black saddle-like marking on its back.
This is a really cool vintage example from an old collection taken 8-10-1978. It has some age-related losses, but is in great condition overall with an interesting aged patina. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
