Dingo Skull #01621

This is the skull of a dingo!

First domesticated over 15,000 years ago from an now-extinct wolf lineage, the dog was the first species to be domesticated by humans. The dingo is an ancient feral dog lineage of dubious taxonomic classification (is it a unique subspecies or a full species in its own right?) that has been present in Australia for at least 3,450 years. Dingo skulls are quite rare in collections.
This is an amazing vintage example from an old US collection taken 2-27-1982. It has some age-related losses, but is in great condition overall. Awesome piece! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
