Fossil Phytosaur Tooth #01652

This is a tooth from a phytosaur!

Beautiful and large Triassic phytosaur tooth from the Bull Canyon Formation in San Miguel/Quay County, New Mexico. Phytosaurs were large, semi-aquatic archosaurs that resembled crocodiles. Excellent example with beautiful serrations and a partial root. Measures 2 1/4 inches long. No restoration. From an old estate collection. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
