Fossil Phytosaur Tooth #01653

This is a tooth from a phytosaur!

Small and pretty Triassic phytosaur tooth from the Bull Canyon Formation in San Miguel/Quay County, New Mexico. Phytosaurs were large, semi-aquatic archosaurs that resembled crocodiles. Nice little example with a partial root. Measures 7/8 inches long. No restoration. From an old estate collection. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
