This is the skeleton of an eastern rosella!

The eastern rosella (Platycercus eximius) is a small colorful parrot native to Australia. It is sometimes kept as a pet.
This is a nice captive example of the species with partial skeleton included. It was beetle-cleaned and whitened in hydrogen peroxide. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is a legal bird skull – it is not from an ESA- or MBTA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
