The red-footed tortoise is a medium-sized omnivorous tortoise native to the northern regions of South America. Large specimens can reach over 16 inches in carapace length. The species is commonly kept as a pet.
This is the skull of a large adult specimen that died in captivity. The skull is in excellent condition with the beak sheaths intact. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
